Visual Arts Component

In its second year the Manito Ahbee Festival worked with aboriginal art galleries to incorporate a visual arts component.  The Urban Shaman took the initiative in organizing and implementing ‘Convergence’ 12 Artists from across Manitoba.  The art exhibit was a joint venture between the Urban Shaman, Canadian Plains Gallery, Graffitti Art Programming, Wah-sa Gallery and Northern Buffalo Sculpture Gallery.  A key aspect of the exhibit was to promote the artists and galleries individually and aboriginal arts as a whole.  The exhibit proved to be very successful, opening it's doors to hundreds of appreciative art fans.
